Recipient of the 2000 National Book Foundation Medal for Distinguished
Contribution to American Letters, the 2004 National Medal of Arts, and
the 2007 Pulitzer Prize Special Citation - Raymond (Ray) Douglas Bradbury died on June 5, 2012, at the
age of 91 after a long illness - how pity! Not his death but the reason of his death. It comes out that after his wife's death in 2003 he was left alone with 4 daughters.

John Fante - Ask The Dust
Recently I have finished Ask The Dust by John Fante. Yes, the very book that Bradley Cooper is reading on the bench in Central Park in the movie of The Words. The book differs from the movie. Movie is much more optimistic than the book but I like both. If you want to know about Charles Bukowski`s God - John Fante, the you must read it. It is somehow autobiographical as well and gives you wide view of Fante`s life in Los Angeles.
John və Vurğunun "Ask The Dust"ları.
Dilimizə tərcümə olunana qədər bu kitab və yazarı haqqında nə eşitmişdim, nə
də oxumuşdum. Tərcüməçinin də tanış olması məndə kitaba maraq oyatdı desəm,
yanılmaram. Marquez`in dilimizə tərcümə olunmuş "Yüz İllik Tənhalıq"
əsərini iki il əvvəldən necə yarım qoymuşamsa, hələ də üzünü aça bilmirəm. Və
"Tozdan soruş" ilə ana dilimizdə yenidən oxumaq tilsimini
sındıracaqdım. Bəli, bəli, Bradley Cooperin The Words filmində Central Park`da skamyada oxuduğu kitab!!! Bəli, bəli, Dj Dodger Stadium' un bu il çıxardığı Friend of Mine albomunun ilham mənbəyi olan kitab!!! Bir daha bəli, "Arturo Bandini Sagası"na daxil olan və 1939-cu ildə nəşr edilən John Fantenin avtobioqrafik əsəri!!!

Paulo Coelho`s "Manuscript found in Accra"
Manuscript full of an old woman's advices to the people around on every thing that insterests humans around, i.e. love, hatred, dishonesty, fate, power, reign, etc. Paulo helps people to understand some proper things in his easy way. It is good, isn't it?
The Grass Harp in the Wood.
Several days ago we had religious Ramadan Holiday and due to several day-offs I had a picnic in the countryside with my family. My new book The Grass Harp by Truman Capote was on me, not accidentally of course. I bought it after finishing Breakfast at Tiffany's and liked it very much. Book tells the story of some adults and a teen living together, and struggling against difficulties. I started reading the book lying on the grass, yes, it was some kind of coincidence - to read The Grass Harp on the Grass under the Trees.
